Cheddar Cheese Is Being Pull From Stores In 4 States Amid E. Coli Outbreak

Raw Farm cheddar cheese is being pulled from shelves owing to a multi-state E. coli epidemic. Products were sold in multiple states and retailers.

On February 17, the FDA reported Raw Farm's voluntary recall. Read on to see which products are recalled and what to do if you bought them.

Recalling Raw Farm Cheddar The FDA recalled the following Raw Farm Cheddar Cheese in California, Colorado, Texas, and Utah "out of an abundance of caution:"

Raw Cheddar Cheese—Pound Block; Barcode: 835204000156; Expiration: 10/13/23 or older

Raw Cheddar Cheese—Half Pound Block; Barcode: 835204001177; Expiration: 10/13/23 or older

Raw Cheddar Cheese—Half Pound Shred; Barcode: 835204001184; Expiration: 01/16/24 or older

The products are expired, but check your fridge or freezer to make sure. Six of the 10 E. coli cases diagnosed on February 16th ate Raw Farms Cheddar Cheese.

E. coli causes stomach cramps, diarrhea, vomiting, and low-grade fever. Immediately contact your doctor if you have any of these symptoms.
